Before You Liberals Freak Out About Trumpmaggedon: Hillary Clinton Called For Direct Strikes On Syrian Airfields Hours Before Trump Launched Missiles

hillary-war2

With Russian warships now moving towards U.S. Navy Destroyers off the Syrian coast, liberal supporters of Hillary Clinton are freaking out about the possibility of a Trumpmaggedon nuclear war.

Before pointing fingers at President Trump, however, it is important to note that just hours before Trump launched missile strikes against Syrian airfield targets it was none other than Hillary Clinton herself who said she would have done the same thing:

Speaking to the New York Times columnist Nicholas Kristof, Mrs Clinton said she believed the US had been wrong not to have previously launched such an offensive.

She said: “Assad had an air force, and that air force is the cause of most of the civilian deaths, as we have seen over the years and as we saw again in the last few days.”

“And I really believe that we should have and still should take out his airfields and prevent him from being able to use them to bomb innocent people and drop Sarin gas on them.

Let’s not pretend that Donald Trump did anything Hillary Clinton wouldn’t have done.

If Trump’s Syrian strikes lead to further tension between the United States and Russia, or even widespread military conflict, it has nothing to do with a Republican or Democrat being in office, but rather, a pre-planned agenda.

As Ron Paul highlighted this week, it’s the neo-cons who benefit most, and that includes Hillary Clinton.

War is very good business for the military industrial complex, bank financiers, energy magnates and politicians.

It Begins: Trump Launches Blitzkrieg Style Missile Strike Against Syrian Targets: “50 Tomahawk Missiles”

trump-deep-state1

Breaking…

President Trump has launched a missile strike targeting the Syrian airfield reportedly used to initiate a chemical gas attack that killed at least 100 people on Tuesday.

Two U.S. warships in the Mediterranean Sea fired at least 50 Tomahawk missiles intended for a single target — Ash Sha’irat in Homs province in western Syria, the officials said. That’s the airfield from which the United States believes the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad fired the banned weapons.

There was no immediate word on casualties. U.S. officials told NBC News that people were not targeted and that aircraft and infrastructure at the site, including the runway, were hit.

NBC News

Russia has previously warned of dire consequences in the event of such an attack, with even the Trump administration highlighting the possibility of Russian military casualties. Russian President Vladimir Putin has been a staunch ally to Syrian President Assad, providing various military technologies including missile defense systems.

It is not yet clear whether this is a one-off event or an opening salvo for broader military action.

US Military Is Testing Brain Boosting Technology on Navy Seals

brain

The one thing every military force is looking for, is a way to give their soldiers an edge. If they can’t do it through training or superior equipment, they often turn pharmacological means. From the Viking Berserkers to Hitler’s meth fueled Whermacht, there are plenty of examples in history of armies utilizing drugs to give their troops more focus and ferocity. But here in the 21st century, the military is beginning to turn to technology rather than drugs to give their soldiers a mental boost.

In a recent interview with several military officials, Military.com uncovered the fact that our armed forces are interested in pursuing brain enhancing technologies, and they’re testing at least one of these technologies on multiple units, including the Navy SEALS:

Szymanski expanded on his remarks in a brief interview later, saying he has his eye on a number of technologies, including pharmaceutical aids. But the results of one breakthrough involving the direct application of electrical stimulation to the brain have particularly caught his eye.

“In experiments, people who were watching these screens … their ability to concentrate would fall off in about 20 minutes,” Szymanski said. “But they did studies whereby a little bit of electrical stimulation was applied, and they were able to maintain the same peak performance for 20 hours.”

Transcranial electrical stimulation was one of the technologies touted by then-Defense Secretary Ash Carter in July 2016 as part of his Defense Innovation Unit (Experimental), or DIUx, initiative. Since then, multiple SEAL units have begun actively testing the effectiveness of the technology, officials with Naval Special Warfare Command told Military.com

What the article is referring to, is also often called transcranial direct current stimulation, or tDCS. It’s been around in one form or another since the 19th century, but has only reached widespread awareness over the past few years. It’s a simple technology that applies a very small electrical current to the brain to induce focus and well-being. Some research has shown that it can help people learn certain tasks twice as fast as they could without the device.

The company that makes the brain-stimulating device — a headset that could be mistaken for a pair of Beats by Dre headphones — is Halo Neuroscience. And the technology offers not cognitive enhancement, but neuro-priming, Chief Technology Officer and Company Co-Founder Brett Wingeier told Military.com.

Developed for elite athletes, the headset purports to work by stimulating the brain to enter a state of hyper-elasticity, allowing users to learn better and more efficiently. In physical training, he said, the technology has proven useful in developing explosive power for athletes whose sports require vertical leaps or sudden starts.

For operators, the same system could improve shooting performance, Wingeier said.

“Whatever you’re training on as far as a movement-based skill,” he said, “if you do deep practice, hard repetition, this accelerates the benefit of that.”

And this isn’t the first time that our military has considered tinkering with the brains of soldiers to enhance brain function. In 2010, DARPA revealed that they were working on a device that would emit ultrasound into a soldier’s brain while he’s on the battlefield.

Tyler’s technology, packaged in a warfighter’s helmet, would allow soldiers to flip a switch to stimulate different regions of their brains, helping them relieve battle stress when it’s time to get some rest, or to boost alertness during long periods without sleep. Grunts could even relieve pain from injuries or wounds without resorting to pharmaceutical drugs. More importantly, in the periods after brain trauma ultrasound technology could reduce swelling and metabolic damage that is often the root cause of lasting brain damage.

This is probably just the beginning. Given the budget our military has, and its obsession with electronic technology, we can probably expect to see some very strange and potent brain enhancement technologies to come out of the military in the near future.

A Major Terror Attack Is Coming, And the U.S. Is Next: “Mock IED Onboard Chicago-Bound Flight”

cyber-attack

Given the way things are, with the powers that be, this was only a matter of time.

A major reset, complete with another inciting (and major) false flag attack is coming – and there is every sense that such an event will once again strike the homeland of the United States.

During the past week, there have been overt threats to preemptively attack North Korea; there have been claims that Assad used chemical weapons against children in Syria (though the episode is obviously dubious).

Russia has absorbed another major terror attack that killed 14 people in a train station, and police then found another explosive in the home of one of the suspects – with surveillance shots of young kids with backpacks and ill intent, it is rather reminiscent of the Boston Marathon bombing in 2013. The details are still unfolding, but the message is clear enough:

An unexploded bomb has been found in St Petersburg during police raids searching for accomplices in a terror attack that killed 14 people.

Russian security services said the explosive device found in a residential building was similar to one discovered on the city’s metro days before.

Hidden in a bag and apparently disguised as a fire extinguisher, that bomb had been covered in metal pellets designed to cause maximum destruction at Ploshchad Vosstaniya station. (source)

Now, following up on these bizarre and disturbing events that are literally driving the world back into a renewed war on terrorism, and more war in general, is a mock explosive found on a flight out of Canada and headed for Chicago.

The message could not be more clear – Americans are once again under threat.

As Dahboo77 reports, the threats are back… and something big is going on:

Mock IED Found On Chicago-Bound United Airlines Flight from Canada

And that’s when it becomes palpable.

It could be almost anything. A cyber attack; a mass shooting; an explosion; a crash; an EMP. The possibilities are endless. But psychologically, they will all mean the same thing – submission derived from fear.

President Trump has signaled his readiness to go to war, and to play ball with the deep state, in numerous ways.

The chemical attacks have changed his mind; and so have other major incidents.

If that works, then Trump can also be pressured and/or expected to go along with a major incident that takes lives on American soil. With so much anger and chaos directed against the new president, and against this nation in general, the scapegoat could be almost anyone.

The scare tactics of reporting on a would-be explosive on a plane is enough to stir fear and general anxiety for now.

But sooner or later, the powers that be will need something bigger, something more emotional, something that defies credibility, yet cannot be looked away from.

This type of pattern of events should put us all on heightened alert – there are wars they want to drag us all into, and there are various political and opposition groups that they want to again marginalize or silence.

And nothing is more deafening than…

10 Steps To Be Ready For A Flood

PeteLinforth / Pixabay

Are there ways to stop your home from getting carried away from a flood, or to protect you and your loved ones? Yes, there are. Preparing for a natural flood is something every household needs to consider, especially in this era of weird weather. Here are ten things you’ll need to do.

Get flood insurance

Homeowner’s insurance doesn’t cover flooding. You need separate flood insurance for that. Yes, it will cost extra money, but might be the only thing that can keep you afloat after a major flood. Disaster relief funds from the federal government are actually a loan you have to pay back, so don’t rely on those.

Build a flood kit

Any standard bug-out bag will work for a flood, but you should make sure you have two extra things. First, you need enough water for everyone in your family for at least three days. Second, a hand-crank radio will help you know where to go. Floods are unpredictable and you won’t know which roads will be out. Consider a paper map as well. Expect to be out of your home for 3-7 days. Floods longer than that are rare.

Know where your shelters are

If you know where the shelters are, you can head there immediately if you have to abandon your home. Talk with your local disaster planning officials to know where to go. By knowing in advance you can practice going there before the flood comes.

Store valuable or important items high

If you have a second floor, keep your important papers and precious items up there. They will have the greatest chance of surviving if you keep them above the flood waters. You should also have copies in your bug-out bag. You don’t want to be caught without identification and insurance paperwork.

Know the weather warnings

Floods use the same warnings as other weather patterns. A watch means you should be ready to flee if necessary. A warning means there is a flood and it’s time to either leave or shelter in place depending on your local situation. However, if there is a flash flood warning and you believe you are in the way, you must flee. Flash floods are the most deadly kind of flooding and can wash a house away in an instant.

Learn how to sandbag

If you’re going to use sandbags, here’s what you need to do. Fill them only two-thirds full of sand, fold the end over then place it with the open end down on the ground. Stack them like bricks. Place them in front of doors, foundation entrances, and garages. For one door, arrange the bags in a ring so you can open the door after the flood. Sandbags swell and get very heavy when wet. The time to put them out is when there is a flood watch.

Check your sump pump

If you have a basement, you need a sump pump. Check it monthly to make sure it works by pouring water down into the sump hole. Also, make sure it works on battery power.

Install a backflow preventer

Depending on the size of the flood and your town’s sewer system, water may try to back up through your pipes. By installing backflow preventers on your drain lines, you can stop this from happening. Consult with a plumber for proper installation.

Avoid touching flood water

You should do your best to avoid wading in flood water or driving through it. Your car is no protection when driving through flood water. In fact, many deaths from flooding happen because people try driving through it. Flood water also carries unknown contaminants as it flows. Avoid touching it as much as you can.

Know what to do after

Keep the number of a plumber, your gas company, and a water damage repair company in your area with your bugout bag in case you need them. Also, keep a camera so you can photograph any flood damage for your insurance company. Call them first after the flood for instructions.

Americans “Worry About Hunger and Homelessness” As Income Drops, Jobs Dry Up

homeless

While those at the top of the heap are getting richer than ever, millions upon millions of Americans are struggling more than ever before.

As a general institution, jobs for the masses increasingly feature frozen wages, evaporating benefits, part time hours, and less than stellar opportunities.

For these people, just getting by can be very stressful.

And that is being reflected in a big way in a recent Gallup pole that has captured unprecedented levels of concern among lower income people who are statistically terrified of losing their grip.

via Wolf Richter of Wolf Street:

Lower-income Americans worry more in general than those with higher incomes. Everything is riskier and tougher for them. But nothing compares to the worries about hunger and homelessness. Gallup:

Since 2001, worry has been highest among those residing in lower-income households, likely because those with limited financial resources are more at risk of going hungry or becoming homeless. A consistent majority of lower-income adults worried about the problem before 2012, but that has only increased in the past five years.

[…]

On average, across the 13 issues, the percentage of lower-income adults who worry a great deal is seven percentage points higher than among middle-income Americans, and 17 points higher than among upper-income Americans.

But differences in concern about hunger and homelessness far exceed those norms. In fact, the 20-point difference in worry about hunger and homelessness between lower-income and middle-income Americans is higher than for any of the other issues. Similarly, the 30-point difference in worry about hunger and homelessness between lower-income and upper-income Americans ties for the highest, along with concern about crime and violence.

Turns out, among Americans making $30,000 or less a year, 67% worry “a great deal” about hunger and homelessness! Food and shelter, two of the most basic human needs. That’s the highest percentage ever in Gallup’s data series on this question going back to 2001.

Obviously everyone already knows that poor people struggle more than well-off people whose needs are easily provided.

The unknown here is why those who are making less than $30,000 per year are so much MORE worried about hunger, homelessness and ‘just the basics’ than they were fifteen years ago.

Moreover, why are the middle class people – making a healthy $30k-$75k also more worried than they have been about personally being homeless and hungry?

What has changed?

Though it is hard to pinpoint, there has been a squeeze on the economy. Somewhere out there, there is a monster.

The glut of money created to give the banks liquidity was reinvested back into government bonds, and companies own stocks. Investment did not, generally, trickle down to the working man. Jobs weren’t created, and a recovery never happened. And many people are on the brink of losing everything – obviously many of those making at or under $30,000 are finding it pretty difficult to make it through.

The disillusionment hasn’t helped. Even with an expanded SNAP government food aid program, people are more freaked out than they ever have been about how food is going to be put on their table, and about how they are going to keep a roof over their head.

The level of worry here is frightening enough in of itself.

As Wolf Richter asked, is there some particular reason why things have suddenly “gotten a lot riskier, scarier, and uglier in some profound ways for lower-income Americans, those making $30,000 or less a year?”

“Nuclear War Much More Likely” Paul Craig Roberts: In Dangerous World, Putin Will Not Trust America

nuclear-war2

Don’t be fooled by appearances.

President Trump is only on war with the Deep State on one level.

On another, the Deep State already run everything – when it comes to foreign policy, economics, politics and the mainstream narrative that is meant to set & sync headlines, clocks and consumer habits around the world.

War is brewing, as Trump hinted strongly in his upstart presidential campaign, but it will come, ultimately, at the terms of the long-running organ that actually steers U.S. policy.

After a very dubious “chemical attack” in Syria to stir the pot (the White Helmets did not even use gloves when picking up, touching and treating supposedly contaminated children), it is clear that war could erupt overnight with any number of middle eastern ‘enemies,’ or with North Korea, Russia or just about anyone else.

And one narrative that has been almost constant from the establishment power base and their media lapdogs during the last cycle has been dogging Russia in anyway it can – from baseless hacking accusations, to controversial sanctions talks, to attributing ultimate responsibility for chemical warfare attacks.

One can clearly see that a fight is being picked. If the story doesn’t fit, they’ll force it, or just find another excuse.

This, in short, is why the well respected Paul Craig Roberts says we are one step closer to “going poof” – it is three steps back to the thermonuclear cold war, only this time the leaders aren’t even attempting to work it out diplomatically.

As Greg Hunter of USAWatchdog.com discussed with Dr. Paul Craig Roberts:

Dr. Paul Craig Roberts, formerly a top editor at the Wall Street Journal, says nuclear war is the most dire problem Americans face. This comes at a time when trust between Russia and America is at all-time lows. Dr. Roberts says, “The danger is both warning systems, ours and the Soviets (Russians). During the period of the cold war, there were many false alarms of incoming missiles. Both sides would see incoming missiles, and yet no one believed it, and the reason they didn’t believe it was that the governments were working together to defuse tensions. You had Kennedy with Khrushchev.

You had Nixon who gave us SALT-1, an anti-ballistic missile treaty. You had Carter who gave us SALT-2. You had Reagan and Gorbachev who ended the cold war. So, all during these periods when false information of incoming missiles came in, no one believed it, but if you have distrust between the two powers as we now have, and Putin has said on a number of occasions we can no longer trust the Americans, if you can’t trust and you get incoming missile alerts, you are much more inclined to believe it. So, the prospect of nuclear war is more likely. Washington and the media . . . are creating distrust among their populations with Russia with this constant anti-Russian propaganda. With all this bogus and false allegations about Russia. . . . the chances of all this going poof are very high.”

via Greg Hunter’s YouTube channel

According to Dr. Roberts, foreign policy figures in the days of Kennedy and Krushchev were actually attempting to trust and deescalate, fearful of setting things off.

Today, foreign policy men and woman seem dogged and emboldened by the chance for destruction.

As USA Watchdog reported:

Dr. Roberts, formerly a top editor at the Wall Street Journal, says nuclear war is the most dire problem Americans face. This comes at a time when trust between Russia and America is at all-time lows.  Dr. Roberts says, “The danger is both warning systems, ours and the Soviets (Russians).  During the period of the cold war, there were many false alarms of incoming missiles.  Both sides would see incoming missiles, and yet no one believed it, and the reason they didn’t believe it was that the governments were working together to defuse tensions.”

“You had Kennedy with Khrushchev.

Combine all the mistrust, aggression and attempts to conflate conflicts into a larger disaster.

The debt situation, the economics and the social indicators are all abysmal and depressing. The morale of the country has devolved, and mutated strangely with the pockets of information and counter-information that reside online.

And there are those who’d prefer to torch things off, collect on military industrial contracts during prolonged war, and start things over when people have sobered up to the grim new realities.

These will be trying times.

A Prepper’s Guide to DIY Welding

augustfinster / Pixabay

Having access to a welder means having one of the easiest and most time efficient ways to building or repairing something. Metal is more resilient than wood; and in a SHTF situation or TEOTWAWKI, scrap metal will most likely be plentiful. All you need is the welder and you are good to go. Wait, what do you mean you do not have one? It is time for your own industrial revolution with tips and tricks for a DIY welder.

Prepping for the Novice Welder

Because welding has a vast stretch of skill requirements, these tips are going to focus on the one safest for novice welders. This also means that many of the must-have components are going to be easy to acquire and not break the budget.

When prepping for a disaster, you should consider an electrical arc and generator combination unit. This is the simplest and faster means of having a welder on hand. All you would then need is a flux-core wire feed or stick welder to accompany it. Keep in mind that stick welders are inexpensive but are best for those with experience. TIG and MIG welders need shielding glass, which may be hard to come by, so you should only consider them if you have said welding helmet.

Now, if you need to make a DIY welder, here is one way:

The DIY Car Battery DC Welder

A quick caveat about the batteries: keep a constant watch over them so that they do not overheat. Lead-acid batteries may go into a discharge mode that is dangerous.

What you will need:

Jumper cables

A welding rod – recommended rods are 3/32” 6013 or the 1/8” 6011

Pliers

2-3 old car batteries — for a total of 24v or 36v

Directions:

  1. Take your pliers and bend the teeth of the alligator clip slightly forward. This will held with grasping the rod. Ties can help secure the clip to the rod. Since a high-amp current will be going through the rod, take all measures necessary to secure it.
  2. Acquire your batteries. These can come from a car, go-kart, golf cart, or anything with mid-sized batteries. Line them up side-by-side. The batteries need to be wired by putting one positive end of the middle battery to the negative end of an outside battery. Next round, take the negative of the middle battery and connect it to the positive of the remaining outside battery.
  3. The open positive gets to be the ground clamp and is attached to the metal sheet.
  4. Time for the final lead (should be one negative remaining on a battery). Connect the end of that cable to the electrode.
  5. Secure the work, because you will be striking the rod against it like a match. It should flare.
  6. You may be inclined to jump backwards, but do not drop the rod.

It will take some practice to perfect the striking technique, but that is how you use car batteries to make a welder.

If you want to see a video, check out a how-to on Youtube.

There are other ways to fabricate a DIY welder, but judging on the situation you may not be able to find all of the required goods. Batteries, however, a generally in supply, as well as wire and scrap metal. The other option is, as stated previously, to buy a generator and connect a welder to that.

When it is TEOTWAWKI, having the ability to weld is going to be a huge advantage for survivalists. You can repair damages to your shelter or make fortifications that would otherwise be unavailable to you. Do not hesitate to begin preparations now. You never know when you are going to have to break out the car batteries for some welding.

Silicon Valley Survivalist Builds DIY “Extreme Weather TsunamiBall” To Ride Out Disaster

tsunami1

Whenever seismic activity kicks up on the planet, earthquakes, volcanoes and tsunamis are triggered.

Just how big, and how devastating, depends upon chance, and the build-up of pressures within the earth.

But anyway you slice it, places like Southern California, and globally, the Ring of Fire, are in the danger zone. Many say that it’s just a matter of time.

With that in mind, survival-minded individuals and disaster preppers have been trying to get ready, and help others get ready, too.

That’s sort of what happened when Chris Robinson and his Silicon Valley friends and associates got into ‘sketching ideas for tsunami-proof shelters.’

He says his boss drove home the idea, and brought it up over and over, until he came up with any idea…

… And started building his own tsunami-proof shelter that he hoped could survive a storm of any size, and keep he and his family safe even if the vessel tumbled, or got knocked.

As a one-man crew, Robinson went to town with simple plywood, and a lot of patience, until he came up with this fantastic DIY survival vessel, dubbed the ‘Tsunamiball’, featured on one of the best off-grid sites on the web.

via Kirsten Dirksen:

A couple years ago Chris Robinson was a former Facebook and PayPal art director with no boat-building (nor sailing) experience. Then the Tsunami hit Japan (a place where he’d lived and met his wife). He happened to be working in a startup incubator at the time with some “very smart people”, including an astronaut, and everyone was sketching ideas for tsunami-proof shelters.

To be sure, Robinson’s house boat isn’t done, and frankly, wouldn’t survive a disaster of any magnitude in its current condition. It hasn’t even been tested on the water.

But he hopes to use his pet project to inspire others into thinking of better designs, and improving his along the way.

As Wired Magazine reported:

The former Facebook and PayPal art director used Adobe Illustrator to sketch his tsunamiball plan (he asked some engineers for help calculating whether it would float). “Very early in the project it became about building this interesting object,” Robinson says. “I’m not a survivalist. I don’t even have life jackets.” He does, however, have an emotional connection to Fukushima—he met his wife there in 1991, when he lived in Japan. “Half the places we went on dates are gone,” he says. Robinson plans to finish the outer shell by May, then ocean-test the vessel if he can find a crane and truck big enough to haul it over to the Pacific. And if the sphere doesn’t sink, he’ll use Airbnb to rent the tsunamiball for tidal wave-safe overnights in Palo Alto.

Whether it helps out in a disaster or not, the project is fascinating and breathtaking.

In principle, it is very similar to the ‘Survival Capsule’ that SHTF reported on a little while back:

In the wake of an extreme threat – such as a tsunami or earthquake – this capsule could be the best place to withstand the impact, no matter what.

It is water-tight. It is extremely durable. It floats, and it can withstand against the impact of super-strong winds, crashes, heat and many other factors.

As the London Guardian reports:

This capsule, which features two small porthole windows so the occupants can see what is going on around them, was created to give individual groups and families more control of their survival in emergency situation than traditional ‘safe houses.’

It is designed to float so it will never be inundated by water levels rising too high, as they do in tsunami situations.

[…]

The sphere is designed to withstand the initial impact of a natural disaster, as well as sharp object penetration, heat exposure, blunt object impact, and rapid deceleration.

How’s your plan for survival? It’s time to think one through if you don’t have one.
